Mandatory Client Update - Please Read

Hey everyone,

We’ve officially released the new BoomPS clients and are asking all players to update as soon as possible. This update is crucial to keep your game running smoothly and to stay compatible with upcoming content and server changes.

⚠ Important:
The previous clients are expected to stop working within the next couple of weeks. If you do not update, you may experience connection issues or be unable to log in entirely.

How to update:

• PC & Mac Players:
  Download the latest version here: https://boom-ps.com/downloads/

• Mobile Players:
  Update through the Google Play Store or Amazon App Store.
  If you originally installed via APK, you will need to manually re-download the newest APK version from our website above.

Keeping your client up-to-date ensures you won’t miss out on the latest features, fixes, and improvements we continue to roll out.

We’re excited to announce some major updates to both our game and our branding.

Domain & Name Change
We have officially transitioned from Boom-Scape.com to our new domain: https://boom-ps.com.
With this change, we are rebranding from BoomScape to BoomPS, dropping the "scape" to better reflect the future direction of the server.

Please be aware that client updates will be released shortly, and these will be required in order to continue playing. The previous launcher versions will likely stop functioning soon due to the domain change.
Mobile users can update through the Google Play Store or Amazon Appstore, while APK users will need to re-download the app from the appropriate store.

Game Updates

• Personal Best Timers now include milliseconds, adding a more competitive edge.
  To enable this feature, head into your in-game settings and turn on "Precise timing".

• Global Announcements will now trigger if you achieve the new global best timer at eligible bosses.

• Chambers of Xeric Leaderboards have been added.
  These display the top 5 team timers for all party sizes.

• Boss Leaderboards are now live for the following encounters:

  • Zulrah

  • Vorkath

  • The Mimic

  • Hespori
    If you’d like to see other bosses added to this list, let us know.

• Bank PIN Improvements

  • A Bank PIN is now required to access the Preset Manager and to rename presets.

Vardorvis – The Final Desert Treasure II Boss is Live

First off, we want to apologize for the delay—this update took longer than expected, but Vardorvis is finally here.

How to Access:
Use the Nexus Teleport system to fight Vardorvis.

Event Details (submit entries in the "Submissions" channel under the "Events" tab on Discord):

• First Pet – 500 Bonds: First player to receive the Butch pet.

• Fastest Kill – 250 Bonds: Submit your fastest kill time. Submissions close June 20.

• First Unique – 250 Bonds - Secondary Uniques do not count, only the following count - Ultor Vestige, Executioner's axe head or any Virtus Piece

• Fastest Awakened Kill – 250 Bonds: Submit your fastest awakened kill time. Submissions close June 20.

• First 100 Kills – 100 Bonds: Post a screenshot showing 100 kills.

• First 100 Awakened Kills – 100 Bonds: Post a screenshot showing 100 awakened kills.

Please report any issues you encounter with Vardorvis.
Submissions that involve bug abuse will not be eligible for rewards.

Coming Soon: Tombs of Amascut (TOA)
After extensive testing and development, TOA is nearly ready to be released to the main game. We're aiming to launch it later in June—more details to come soon.
