Elite Ironman Mode

A new challenge awaits Elite Ironman is a strict new game mode for players who want a truly self-sufficient experience — with most pay-to-win shortcuts removed. Only Realism or Hard experience modes are available.

Restricted items & services

• Bond Shop: UMBs, SMBs, MBs, reward caskets, prayer scrolls, thread of elidinis, imbued heart, dragon boots, fire & infernal cape, ava's assembler, and dragon defender

• AFK Shop: Mystery Boxes are restricted

• Grand Exchange & player trading are completely disabled

• Wilderness Supply Chest cannot be looted

• The Lottery cannot be entered

• Collection Log mystery box rewards are disabled

• Any restricted items purchased via the store will automatically convert back into bonds

Bond-to-credit bonus Elite Ironmen can swap bonds at the Wise Old Man for double the usual donator credit value — 100 bonds becomes $20 credit instead of $10.

Monkey Madness Dungeons

Monkey Madness I — Skeleton Apes Bones left on the floor after killing a Skeleton Ape will reanimate into a new one after 10 ticks. Hit the respawn cap and they'll burst into flaming bones instead.

Monkey Madness II — Kruk's Dungeon Enter the public area freely, or pay 500,000 coins to open a private instance for uninterrupted, distraction-free grinding.

NPC Stacking Rework

NPCs now handle tile occupancy properly. An NPC holds its tile until a player steps on it and walks away — at that point the tile clears, allowing multiple NPCs to stack naturally. This enables faster, more efficient training in stacking-heavy areas like the Kourend Dungeon, MM1, and MM2, now matching OSRS behaviour.

A small number of NPCs are exempt from this logic. Please report anything that looks off!

Discord Booster Rewards

Boosting the BoomPS Discord server now automatically delivers an Ultimate Mystery Box (x100 Bonds for Elite Ironmen) to your linked in-game account every month you remain boosted. If you've got a spare Nitro boost, this is a no-brainer.

General Adjustments

• Moon Keys: Loop Half keys can now drop from Mining and Woodcutting across Varlamore. Tooth Half keys are obtainable from various NPCs throughout Varlamore.

• Double XP Scrolls: Now cost 50 bonds, down from 150.

• Tournament item requirements removed: Skill-level requirements on items are no longer enforced inside Tournaments.

• Zombie Axe: Now has correct inspect options and can be repaired at an Anvil.

• Whisperer Pillar phase: The gap between the tallest and second-tallest pillars is now capped at 3, making it consistently possible to run between them.

• Random character appearance: New characters are now assigned a randomised look on registration.

• Boss Task fee: When paying Zotikos' 1m fee, coins will now be taken from your bank if you don't have them on you.

• Donator Island Store: Steam runes and Chinchompas can now be purchased from the Donator Island Store.

Bug Fixes

• Mazchna — NPC ID corrected; can now be found and assign tasks properly.

• Red & Black Chinchompas — Projectiles now display correctly.

• Dwarf Multicannon — Can now be reclaimed if destroyed by an instance reset or an NPC object placement. Unclaimed cannons are also saved across server restarts.

• Tournaments — Fixed an issue where disconnected players were not fully removed from a Tournament.

• Tombs of Amascut — Leaderboards now update correctly.

• Gambling Zone — The NPC has been replaced.

• Falador Party Room — Bankers in Falador, the Home area, and Donator Zones will now be alerted when a large party is in progress.

• Ultracompost — Now correctly increases minimum and maximum yields for Herb, Allotment, Flower, and Hops patches.

• Vengeance — No longer resets your player's movement.
