BoomPS Updates - Title System, Pyramid Plunder & Upcoming Revision Update Information

Title System

We’re excited to introduce our brand-new Title System, bringing a fresh layer of personality and achievement to Boom! You can now unlock and equip a wide range of titles that display beside your name, showcasing your accomplishments across the game. You can check out the titles by speaking with the Gielinor Guide outside the bank at the home area.

Your donator rank will also now appear beside your username. If you're staff or an ironman, your display order will be:
Staff Rank → Ironman Rank → Donator Rank → Chosen Title

These will only appear beside your username, in normal chat, and on hover. Clan chat and private messages remain unchanged.

One More thing, if you haven't already please be sure to get the latest client for Android, most users have already updated their clients, without getting the latest update the game won't work fully with players using the new title system.

 

 

Pyramid Plunder

Pyramid Plunder is now live!
Dive into a fast-paced, experience-packed thieving minigame with eight chambers to loot before the 5-minute timer runs out. You’ll have a chance to obtain the Pharaoh’s Sceptre, which can also be used to build altars in your POH. The more progress you’ve made in the Desert Achievement Diary, the more sceptre charges you can unlock.

 

Game Adjustments

• The Scythe of Vitur ornament variants now use their correct graphics:

  • Holy Scythe → white/blue-tinted effects

  • Sanguine Scythe → deeper red effects

• Holy Sanguinesti Staff now displays the correct graphics.

• Slayer boss tasks will no longer be assigned if you don’t meet the required Slayer level.

• You can now see how many wins you've had in Tournaments by reading the Notice Board outside of the Tournament area.

 

Bug Fixes

• Virtus equipment now correctly requires both Magic and Defence.

• If you die to a player with free item repairs, you will no longer receive coins for broken item

 

Revision Update

We’re nearing completion of our major revision update, which will introduce a huge wave of new content—including Araxxor, Tormented Demons, Yama, and several other challenging encounters coming soon to Boom.  We will be reaching out soon to invite users to the test server to make sure everything is running how it should to make the update smooth as possible when it's all released!
