Tombs of Amascut — Now Live in BoomPS!

The long-awaited Tombs of Amascut raid has officially arrived! Venture deep into the desert city of Menaphos and take on the corrupted guardians within the tomb of the gods themselves. Face deadly puzzles, brutal bosses, and fight for some of the most powerful loot in BoomPS.

We’re kicking things off with a big TOA launch event — details and announcements will be posted in the BoomPS Discord, so keep your eyes peeled for your chance to win extra rewards and prizes.

Key Launch Details:

• Keris & Keris Partisan can now be purchased directly from Osman, ensuring you’re raid-ready from the start.

• ToA-exclusive loot tables: All Tombs of Amascut items have been removed from Chambers of Xeric, Theatre of Blood, and Wilderness boss drops — if you want them, you’ll have to earn them in the desert.

• Live monitoring: The team will be keeping a close watch on the raid this weekend and throughout the week to squash any bugs or balance issues as quickly as possible.

• Bug reporting: If you spot anything off, report it via the #bug-reports channel in the BoomPS Discord to help improve the experience for everyone.

Player Experience

• True facing on login/region load: Players no longer default to facing south. On login and when loading new regions, your character now keeps their actual facing direction for a smoother, less “static” feel.

New Additions

• Arctic pine trees can now be chopped.

• Cleaning cloths: Use Karamjan rum on silk to create cleaning cloths.

• Patchy (Mos Le’Harmless): Now uses an interface for combining items (instead of dialogue). Dark flippers can also be made via Patchy.

• Teleblock cleanup: If you’re teleblocked by a player in the Wilderness, killing that player now removes your teleblock.

• Cooking: You can now cook Garden, Botanical, Mushroom, and Dragonfruit pies.

• Make-X now works while making darts.

Grand Exchange (QoL & Safeguards)

• Price warnings

  • Buying at ≥10× guide price shows a warning.

  • Selling at ≤10% under guide price shows a warning.

  • You can toggle these warnings in your account settings.

• Buy “All”: Right-click Buy → All to purchase as many as you can afford.

• Quantity buttons: When quantity is 1, pressing +10 / +100 / +1,000 now sets the quantity to exactly 10 / 100 / 1,000 (not 11/101/1,001).

• Mixed stacks: When listing items for sale, the quantity now accepts a mix of noted + unnoted.

• Smart defaults: Listing an unnoted item defaults quantity to 1. Listing a noted item defaults to all copies you have (including unnoted).

Bug Fixes

• Corrected Evil Chicken piece rates.

• /rules command now opens the correct rules page.

• Brimhaven Agility Tickets now add to the Collection Log properly.

• Fixed pet logic incorrectly checking for duplicate pets.

• The Gauntlet: After killing Hunllef, you’re now properly teleported back to the waiting area. Also, you can no longer enter with a pet (you’ll get a prompt).

• Black mask (10) + Scroll of Imbuing: Can now be combined correctly to make a Slayer helm.

• Gambling overflow: Added safeguards so oversized payouts (e.g., max cash stack) don’t silently lose overflow.

• Whisperer & Leviathan: Now drop the correct tablets.

• Sulliuscep trees: Fixed cycle getting stuck and not resetting correctly.

• Nex:

  • No drops if you die and are in the waiting room.

  • Dying at Nex now correctly removes HCIM status.

• Chambers of Xeric: Presets are no longer accessible after a raid has begun.

• Gambling disconnects: If you disconnect during a gamble, results are now handled correctly (no losing wins/draws due to logout).

Staff / Moderator Tools

• Teleport prompts: If a player is in a tournament or instance, moderators are now prompted to teleport to them or teleport them to you (spelled out clearly).
